As part of a 140 acre solar development, approximately 40 acres of woodlands and wetlands were set aside for conservation by Prism. In doing so, all of the wooded property on the solar development parcels was preserved in its original old growth state. A local land conservancy identified high value native habitat in the wetland area of the property, which is also included in the conservation area. The conservation area was left unfenced to maintain the wildlife corridor which is adjacent to a railroad corridor.
